About me

I am a freelance journalist living between London and Kampala. I cover politics, society and the arts. I am also Managing Editor at Raddington Report, a new media brand based in Washington D.C.

I was a 2016 grantee of One World Media's Production fund for journalists, was named one of VICE Magazine's 'Employees of the Month' in March 2017, and have recently been awarded an Innovation in Development Reporting grant from the European Journalism Centre for Big Men, a project about gender equality and masculinity in East Africa.

My interests include postcolonialism, hummus, 'artivism', 90s fashion, drug policy and cheesy afrobeat music. My hero is early 20th century mega-babe Sylvia Pankhurst
