About me
I’m an award winning (and losing) journalist and editor. I am currently an investigative reporter at The Nerve, alongside working on freelance projects.
I have over a decade’s experience writing news, features and investigations for international media such as The Guardian, CNN, VICE, Thomson Reuters, BBC News, New Internationalist, Al Jazeera and TIME Magazine. I also take photos and produce documentaries and social videos.
Feminism is central in my work, and I have covered gender issues in South America, Western Europe, South Asia and across Africa, particularly Uganda where I lived for 5 years. Most recently, I have been investigating the influence of the global anti-gender movement in the UK.
I have also investigated disinformation, digital rights and the harms of the Big Tech industry for the Citizens, Eco-Bot.Net and People vs Big Tech.
Before journalism, for four years I worked in communications and campaigns for anti-corruption group Transparency International.
